1 – CFA® – A professional certificate offered through the CFA Institute. The certification qualifies one to be a financial analyst. To qualify for a CFA, one must have worked a certain number of years in the financial industry and must complete three levels of exams on all topics related to investing. CFA charterholders are required to adhere and annually attest to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
2 – FSA – Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential awarded by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) demonstrates in-depth knowledge of the integration of sustainability information into investment analysis. To qualify for the FSA Credential, one must complete two exams. Level I focuses on principles and practices and Level II focuses on application and analysis.
3 – CMI® – A professional program offered through the Canadian Securities Institute. To qualify for a CIM® designation, one must have worked two years in the financial industry and must complete a certain number of courses and/or examinations on all topics related to investing. CIM® designation holders must comply with the continuing education requirements of the designation and have agreed to abide by the CIM® Code of Ethics.
4 – CPA – A professional designation offered by CPA Canada. The designation qualifies one to be a chartered professional accountant. To qualify for a CPA designation, one must have completed the CPA Professional Education Program, gained 24 months of practical experience completed on a full-time basis and passed the Common Final Examination. Holder of the CPA designation must comply with the continuing education requirements of the designation and have agreed to abide by the Code of Ethics of Chartered Professional Accountants.

Isabelle Godin graduated in accounting from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) title.
Prior to joining the firm in 1997, she held a senior auditing position with Price Waterhouse and, subsequently, a supervisory position in group accounting with Canadian Pacific.
Her extensive expertise has enabled her to evolve within the firm for over 25 years. In addition to holding the position of Chief Compliance Officer, she is now head of the company’s operations and finance departments.
Ms. Godin is known for her dedication, attention to detail, welcoming nature, and ability to listen to her peers in order to provide advice and find solutions.

Gustavo Derqui holds a Bachelor’s in Law (LL.B.) from Universidad de Buenos Aires, Argentina and pursued post-graduate studies in Business Law at the Université de Montréal.
Before joining Letko, Brosseau & Associates Inc. in 2024, he practiced law in a foreign law firm specialized in corporate law, performed Senior operations roles in various North American financial institutions, served as Head of Compliance and Administration in an institutional investment manager and as Compliance Officer in a US fintech.
With over 26 years of experience across different countries, positions, and industries, Mr. Derqui brings a strong legal, regulatory, and operations background, as well as an analytical mindset, to his current role as Senior Advisor, Portfolio Compliance at the firm.

Ms. Girard is a graduate of the Université de Montréal (B. Sc. Math.). She also studied accounting at McGill University, earning the Chartered Professional Accountant designation (CPA, CGA), and is also a CFA® charterholder. She joined the firm in 1997 and is responsible for trading activities and trade execution.

Prior to joining LBA, she worked at the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec as a Compliance Officer, Direction of Compliance, Asset Management and Investment Funds. Previously, she held various positions in Compliance at Desjardins Securities Inc. and at Laurentian Bank Securities.

Ms. Richard is a graduate of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (Bachelor of Accounting Science), and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA). Before joining the firm in 2002, she worked more than 10 years mainly in accounting and reporting at Standard Life and Desjardins Sécurité Financière, and four years as external auditor at KPMG Peat Marwick. At Letko Brosseau, Ms. Richard is responsible for monitoring the compliance of client portfolios with their investment policies and the firm’s internal policies.

Ms. Sullivan is a graduate of HEC Montréal (B.Com., Finance and Accounting) and is also a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA. CMA).
