Our analysts are typically recruited straight from university after they have completed their graduate studies. They are more readily available at this stage than after having begun a career. We are able to hire the best and brightest. We can train them, evaluate their judgment and measure their interest and ability to become good investment managers. Accordingly, the assets are managed by a team of professionals specialized by industry, who have learned their field of study in various parts of the world and have extensive knowledge of the sectors and economic regions they evaluate.
The investment committee is composed of all the Investment Analysts and Portfolio Managers and meets once a week to review the work that has been completed on certain investments and to discuss the results of various analyses, including macro-economic data. Their discussions focus on determining additions to and subtractions from the model portfolio, security weightings, what general direction the economy is headed in, and the general strategies that should be applied in managing the portfolios.
